Acts of Kindness Month

During the month of February our students will be encouraged to perform acts of kindness and be on the lookout for acts of kindness performed by others.  We always strive to have our school be a safe and caring place to be. The month of February gives us the opportunity to embrace this and celebrate it!

Here are some Acts of Kindness that families can do together:

Hold the door open for someone.

Do a chore for someone without them knowing.

Tell a joke.

Return someone’s cart at the store.

Leave a letter in a library book.

Pick up litter.

Let someone go ahead of you in line.

Compliment a friend.

Bake dessert for a neighbor.

Walk dogs at the animal shelter.

Set the table for dinner.

Tell someone why they are special to you.

Share a special toy with a friend.

Clean up your room without being asked.

Teach someone something new.

Make a homemade gift for someone.

Donate outgrown clothes.

Talk to someone new at school.

Donate socks and supplies to the homeless shelter.

Take treats to the fire station.

Read a book to someone.

Donate a book to a doctor’s office waiting room.

Say hello to everyone you see.

Make someone else’s bed.

Hold the door open for someone.

Invite someone to play on the playground.

Tell the principal how great your teacher is.

Help make dinner.

Donate new pajamas for foster kids.

Help someone unload groceries at the store

Smile at everybody. It’s contagious!!
